Hours of Operation:
Cemetery grounds are open every day of the year from 8:00am to 5:00pm standard time and from 8:00am to 6:00pm during daylight savings time.
The cemetery office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Burial Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9am to 2pm. The last burial must conclude by 2:30pm. Saturday burials are available for an additional fee. Please call the office for more information.
History:
Established in 1971, Gate of Heaven Cemetery is hidden in the rolling hills between Cupertino and Los Altos. Its lush green landscape and serene centerpiece lake provide a tranquil getaway from the hectic valley pace. Visitors enjoy the natural, park-like atmosphere and admire the spiritually moving artwork found throughout the grounds. This cemetery is truly a peaceful place to rest.
Gate of Heaven Cemetery offers a variety of burial options, including spaces for cremated remains, indoor and outdoor crypts, in-ground burials for individuals, couples and families. Gate of Heaven also has a special section reserved for Miliary Veterans.
Memorial Mass is celebrated every second Saturday of the month at 11:00am in All Saints Chapel.
